My trip to the German camp in Nordwalde

In 2014, during the period from 28 July to 7 August, I attended an international camp for people with disabilities in Germany.

"The camp is called the International integration camp for people with disabilities" Eurocontact ", he is in Nordwalde, Germany

Last year, 90 people gathered Eurocontact from Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Luxembourg and Cologne students Pedagogical University. All participants are very friendly, each in its own interesting and unique. Eurocontact is a place where each participant can develop their talents and share their skills with others. It just was dedicated seminar «Yes. I can! ». In this workshop we showed each other our skills. Conducted a master class on knitting bracelets ribbons and baking guys from Germany played musical instruments and cooked. Someone just fooling around, telling funny stories, fun games held. The atmosphere in the camp was very supportive, each participant took an active part. Unites all the great wave of positive, so that the difficulty of communication is almost non-existent.

"Our first excursion was a walk in the evening Munster. Here there are modern buildings and ancient medieval buildings. The atmosphere is calm and the city is the best has to rest. Attention is drawn to St. Paul's Cathedral, the main tower of which is decorated with old astronomical clock. When you stand a meter away from such beauty, one is struck by how people in the 13th century could build such masterpieces of architecture.

We also visited Enschede. It is a small town located on the border with Germany. There is a lot of shops in the city center there is a small church. "

"Nordwalde as a city from a fairy tale. Streets and homes are well maintained, every bush trimmed. Children playing in the yard on the green lawn. People are very friendly. In one of the shops a local resident, who was standing next to me in line, helped pay with the seller and other aside. And I did not even have to ask her for help.   I felt comfortable and free.

"Thanks to barrier less space, you can manually move around the city, go to public places. Transport  is low-hollow, every 2-3 meters on the sidewalks descent for wheelchairs, traffic lights are equipped with audible signals for pedestrians with vision problems. Is why people with disabilities are more common on the streets. There are full-fledged, no deprived members of society. These people are not pathetic.

Landscape alley in Kiev

In Kiev, there is a place, it's Landscape Alley, located in the city center, hidden from the noisy streets of houses Velyka Zhytomyrska street. In recent years - is a popular place for many people as the indigenous inhabitants and visitors. What it all enjoyed it so much? And here in November 2008 opened a children's park with original mosaic designs, benches in the form of a rabbit, a cat and a bird, children's slides in the style a la Alice in Wonderland, in the form of an elephant fountains and fountain with hugging zebras, sculptures.
But the most popular place - a stand and take pictures in the mouth of a cat - centipede's length of 30 meters. Note the elaborate eyes of a cat as if alive.

In November 2010, the French Cultural Centre on the anniversary of the opening of sculptures presented a mosaic sculpture - The Little Prince, the hero of the children's novel by Saint-Exupery. Vandals smashed by the way, and then in 2011 it was restored. Children's park was built on the money patrons and people from neighboring houses, without the intervention of the city budget.
